(I am catching up on the blog days later, so the dates are not accurate to when I was there)
After driving for days through the dessert, it was time for a swim – so I headed to Mount Gambier, that is known for it’s limestone, volcanic landscapes, crater lakes.
Blue lake is definitely a beauty, but unfortunate for me, swimming is not allowed in all three of the lakes in Mount Gambier 🙁 After staying one night, I continued my pursuit for a swim, and went to Piccaninnie Ponds – where you can snorkel and dive though pristine waters and caves. Well, it was way too cold to go in, but I had a very nice relaxing meditation there 🙂
Next stop was Apollo bay. I loved the bay and little town so much, that it is one of those places that I could see myself living there.
The seasons are changing and the weather is getting too cold to swim anymore.
