A few days ago I dropped my car off at the mechanics to be serviced, and something beautiful happened. I used this mechanic only once before and it was about 8 months ago. It took a few minutes for him to remember me, but when he did, he got such a big smile on face, and said “oh ya, you’re the one that gave me those cards… I have to admit I cheated… I didn’t keep one for myself, I gave one to my son and one to my daughter”. He went on to tell me how much they all loved the experience.
I really miss giving out the Thank You for Being You cards…. the connection of giving them to people brought such joy to myself and all that received them. The best part is the energy of what they represent will continue to circulate infinitely…. All we have to do is keep feeding it 😊
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”
He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU
